Dr. Lauren Robinson, DVM

Part-Time Veterinarian

Dr. Lauren Robinson is a part-time veterinarian at Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital and a graduate of the Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She has been practicing small animal medicine since 2017 and specializes in dermatology, with a particular interest in building long-term relationships with clients and their pets through thoughtful, evidence-based care. Her special interests include dermatology, particularly the diagnosis and management of allergies and chronic skin and ear disease, as well as preventive medicine and scientifically supported pet nutrition. Dr. Robinson especially enjoys helping owners understand the reasoning behind their pet’s treatment plan and separating reliable medical information from the many myths and misconceptions surrounding pet health and nutrition. She also has a strong interest in diagnostic medicine and enjoys working through complex cases to determine the underlying cause of a pet’s symptoms rather than simply treating the surface problem. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Robinson enjoys yoga, reading, science, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. She is an avid kayaker, with a particular love of whitewater paddling and exploring new rivers. She also has a lifelong fondness for cows and pet rats.
