Celebrating Our Veterinary Technicians This October

This month, we're putting the spotlight on the veterinary technicians who help care for your pets every day. From treatments and lab work to patient comfort and so much more, our technicians are an essential part of what we do at Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital — and October is our chance to say thank you.

What Does a Veterinary Technician Do?

Veterinary technicians are an essential part of your pet's medical team. They work closely with our doctors and are involved in many different parts of patient care — often doing far more than clients realize, from diagnostics and lab work to anesthesia monitoring and surgical support.

Caring for Every Patient, Every Step of the Way

Beyond the hands-on medical care, our technicians keep hospitalized patients comfortable, communicate with pet owners about home care, and keep every treatment area ready for what's next.

They are also often the ones comforting a nervous pet, watching for subtle changes in a patient, helping a doctor during a difficult procedure, or making sure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes.
