My dog has been sprayed by a skunk! How can I get rid of the smell?

Skunk spray can be very strong, but this mixture is one of the best options we’ve found for helping remove the odor.
Skunk Odor Removal Mixture:
Mix together:
1 quart hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 teaspoon Dawn dish soap
Apply the mixture to your dog’s coat, avoiding the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. You may need to repeat if the smell is still strong.
Important safety notes:
Do not store this mixture in a closed container, as it can build pressure. Mix it fresh and use it right away. Avoid getting it in your pet’s eyes or mouth.
